MS Blues Marathon & Half-Marathon Registration Open
Registration has opened online for all races that are a part of the Mississippi Blues Marathon & Half-Marathon. This includes the 26.2-mile marathon, the 13.1 mile half-marathon, wheelchair divisions of both of those races, the team relay and the Kids' "Marathon" - a 1-mile fun run. Click the Runner's Registration link at the top of this page, and you can complete your registration now for the January 8, 2011 races.
Soldiers in Iraq will run in Blues Marathon
Organizers announced that Mississippi soldiers deployed in Iraq will be part of this year's race, running a "first wave" race on a military base on January 4. The race was organized in response to a request from Mississippi soldiers who want to be part of the state's premier running event. Read the press release.

Blues Marathon and Half-Marathon honored by Road Runners Club of America
The Road Runners Club of America has named the Mississippi Blues Marathon and Half-Marathon as Mississippi State Championship Races. This honor cites the races as the premier running events in the South. Read the press release.
